Introduction
International Automotive Engineers (Pvt) Ltd. (formerly International Engineers) was founded by its chairman Abdul Latif in 1954. Operating in a modest 300 square foot facility, Abdul Latif started his carrier in repair maintenance work of machine tools, automobile and industrial machinery and provided top ranked services to all kind of industries in Pakistan for more than 30 years.
He made center lathe in 1961 as first Pakistan made lathe machine in Karachi. In 1978, he started manufacturing engine rebuilding equipment and more than six models of cylinder boring & honing machines were introduced for automobile industry.
Then International Engineers became a family business as his sons joined his business and they were shared all his experience and skills for mechanical engineering.
Since 1997, IAEPL started manufacturing Transmission Components for local OEMs which include industry giants such as Al-Ghazi Tractors Ltd. (producer of New Holland tractors). In 2001, gear components and differentials were successfully developed for Al- Ghazi Tractors.
On April 06, 2005 International Engineers became a private limited company with incorporated name M/S International Automotive Engineers (Pvt) Ltd. (IAEPL) and progressively got ISO 9001: 2000 Certificate on May 08, 2006. Later on in 2010, we stepped into manufacturing two wheeler components and became the vendor of Atlas Honda Ltd. (producer of Honda motorcycle in Pakistan). In 2018, we mark another achievement as we joined hands with Yamaha Pakistan and provided them with gear components. Over a period of almost sixty-five years, IAEPL has built up a reputation as a quality conscious company that has displayed an ability to diversify its capabilities and meet the growing demands of machines & automotive component’s market of Pakistan and abroad.
