Chairman Abdul Latif founded International Automotive Engineers (Pvt) Ltd. in 1954, formerly International Engineers. It was founded with a tiny 300-square-foot space, initially devoted to Abdul Latif on maintenance and repair of automobiles, machines and industrial equipment.
It has provided the highest quality services to various industries across Pakistan for over 30 years.
1961 Abdul Latif made history by introducing the first locally produced central lathe in Karachi. In 1978, he diversified to produce engines and repair equipment and introduced more than six honing models and boring cylinders to the automobile industry.
The company was restructured and owned by the Latif family. Abdul's sons joined the business as he continued to learn and retain his knowledge of mechanical engineering.
From 1997 onwards, IAEPL could create gears and transmissions for regional OEMs, such as the major players in the field, like Al-Ghazi Tractors Ltd., the manufacturer of New Holland tractors. In 2001, we developed gear components and differentials for Al-Ghazi Tractors.
On April 6, 2005, International Engineers rebranded as M/S International Automotive Engineers (Pvt) Ltd. (IAEPL) and was awarded the ISO 9001:2000 certificate on May 8, 2006. In 2010.
We expanded our operations into parts for two-wheelers and became a supplier to Atlas Honda Ltd., the manufacturer of Honda motorcycles in Pakistan. We also developed our products by partnering with Yamaha Pakistan to supply gear components.
With more than sixty-five years of expertise in the field, IAEPL has established itself as a premium, quality-focused company. We have extended our range of services to meet the ever-growing demands of the automotive and machine components market in Pakistan and globally.
